Hvem er jeg?

Peter Appel

Interoception teacher (Movingness)

Peter Appel from Finland is the founder of Movingness, a new way of connecting with the body.

Peter has been practicing yoga, meditation, dance and different somatic modalities for more than 25 years.

At the core of Movingness is the ability to feel at home in your own body.

From this wonderful state of being, you can just enjoy. Or gently work with yourself, with your movement patterns, fascia, and body image.

Feeling yourself, will also make it easier to feel your partner. You can be mindfully together with yourself and other living beings.

Hvilke workshop skal jeg ha?

Interoception, the key to intimacy with yourself and others

Interception is a less known sense, but it is extremely important when we want to connect with ourselves, with others, and with nature.

In this workshop, we’re going to explore this mysterious sense. We are also going to combine it with mindfulness and mindful movements as a way of connecting with the feeling body.

So what is interoception? How does it feel? And how can we use it to create wellbeing in our body?

Welcome to find out!

You need: A yoga mat, comfy clothes, a fleece blanket, and a curious mind

How to create pleasure in your own body

We all know how the body feels when it’s in pain. But to feel pleasure we often reach out for something outside of ourselves.

However, this is not necessary. The body has its own emotional touch system and we can learn how to activate it.

During this workshop, we’re allowing the body to create pleasure and wellbeing in itself by using the floor as our “partner”.

With Yoga Nidra, organic movement, breathing, mindfulness, touch, pressure and rhythm, we’ll activate our vagus nerve, fascia, and C tactile fibers.

This is a relaxing workshop. It can take you beyond thoughts and concepts into a meditative state.

Welcome on a very special inner adventure!

Body Mind Love meditation: Resting in love

Let’s have a cup of coffee or tea together and allow the body, breath and mind to gradually align with each other in a natural Body Mind Love meditation!

This is a somatic meditation. So we’re starting by connecting with the body, and allowing the nervous system to calm down.

Gradually, we’re also including our breathing (our emotions).

Lastly, we’re opening our mind (awareness), and allowing body, breath and mind to melt together into one.

During this meditation, you can sit on the floor, on a chair, or however you’ll find it comfortable. You don’t have to sit totally still, you can mindfully move your body and take a sip of coffee or tea whenever you start to feel sleepy.

Welcome to explore a natural meditation!

When and where: Saturday 19.6 from 9.00 to 10.30 in tent 1 (Parken)
